Type 2 Diabetes

Zuga and Type 2 Diabetes

WHAT IS TYPE 2 DIABETES?

There are two main types of diabetes: type 1 and type 2.

Type 2 diabetes is a chronic condition in which your body either resists the effects of insulin or doesn’t produce enough insulin to maintain normal glucose levels. Insulin is a hormone that regulates the movement of sugar into your cells.

Here’s how to understand it:

1. Your body’s cells need glucose.
2. In order for glucose to enter into the cells, it needs a key to open them (Insulin).

People with type 1 diabetes don’t produce insulin – they don’t have a key.
People with type 2 diabetes don’t respond to insulin – they have a broken key

There’s no cure for type 2 diabetes, but losing weight, eating well, and exercising can help manage the disease. If diet and exercise aren’t enough to manage your blood sugar well, you may also need diabetes medications or insulin therapy.

SUGAR AND TYPE 2 DIABETES

How does sugar contribute to the risk of Type 2 diabetes?

Type 2 diabetes occurs as a result of a lack of insulin production or increased resistance to insulin which is released into the body in order to allow individual cells to take up glucose from the blood to metabolize it.

A high-sugar diet has been linked with an increased incidence of type 2 diabetes. The link between sugar consumption and diabetes is both direct and indirect – with sugar-sweetened foods being directly linked to the incidence of type 2 diabetes, and equally sugar consumption leading to obesity, one of the main risk factors for type 2 diabetes.

Using Zuga as your loose sugar replacement will not only allow you an almost unlimited “dietary budget” for sweeteners each day, but will satisfy your quest for a sugar substitute that tastes almost EXACTLY like sugar with no aftertastes!

The Benefits of Zuga

Don't Worry About Aftertaste!

Zuga tastes sweet. It’s remarkably similar to table sugar. Some people actually cannot tell the difference.

No Digestive Issues!

Many other sugar substitutes lead to bloating and an upset stomach. Zuga is generally absorbed by your body very quickly, meaning people generally handle it better than other sugar alcohols. It is the only sweetener of its class that doesn’t come with any warnings from the CFIA or FDA!

Feel Secure and Safe

Zuga is made from one of the newer sugar alcohols on the market approved by The World Health Organization (WHO) in 1999, followed by the CFIA and FDA  in 2001.

Keep Life Simple!

Stop Counting Carbs… Zuga contains no carbohydrates. Therefore you NEVER have to count any carbs because of Zuga.

Appearances are Important!

Zuga looks like sugar as it comes in the form of white crystal granules or powder.

Easy To Use Sweetness

You can use Zuga the same way as sugar. You can stir it into your coffee or tea, sprinkle it on grapefruit, or bake with it and see how similar it is in both taste and consistency!

Stop Counting Sugar!

Sugar has 4 calories per gram, but Zuga has ZERO. That’s because your small intestine absorbs it quickly and gets it out of your body within 24 hours. This means Zuga doesn’t have a chance to “metabolize” – turn into energy in your body.

Zuga is the best natural sugar for diabetics! It has freed me from the perpetual prison of constantly tracking and counting my sugar.

They are right!

I Can’t Believe It’s Not Sugar!
