Zuga does not spike blood sugar or insulin. Humans don’t  break down Zuga so there is no change in blood sugar or insulin levels

Zuga tastes sweet. It’s remarkably similar to table sugar. Some people actually cannot tell the difference.

Many other sugar substitutes lead to bloating and an upset stomach. Zuga is generally absorbed by your body very quickly, meaning people generally handle it better than other sugar alcohols. It is the only sweetener of its class that doesn’t come with any warnings from the CFIA or FDA!

Zuga is made from one of the newer sugar alcohols on the market approved by The World Health Organization (WHO) in 1999, followed by the CFIA and FDA  in 2001.

Stop Counting Carbs… Zuga contains no carbohydrates. Therefore you NEVER have to count any carbs because of Zuga. 

Zuga looks like sugar as it comes in the form of white crystal granules or powder.

You can use Zuga the same way as sugar. You can stir it into your coffee or tea, sprinkle it on grapefruit, or bake with it and see how similar it is in both taste and consistency!

Sugar has 4 calories per gram, but Zuga has ZERO. That’s because your small intestine absorbs it quickly and gets it out of your body within 24 hours. This means Zuga doesn’t have a chance to “metabolize” – turn into energy in your body.

There aren’t official guidelines on how much Zuga you can eat, but most people can handle 1 gram for every kilogram of body weight daily. So if you weigh 150 pounds, one can tolerate a minimum of 68 grams of Zuga a day!
